The 'Aad belied the sent ones. 123 When their brother Hud said unto them: fear ye not? 124 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 125 So fear Allah and obey me. 126 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists). 127 Do you build monuments on every high place in vanity, 128 Erect palaces (thinking) that you will live for ever, 129 And when you lay hands (on men) you lay hands (like) tyrants; 130 So fear Allah, and obey me. 131 Fear Him who has given you all the things you know. 132 Provided you with grazing livestock and children 133 "And Gardens and Springs. 134 "Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day." 135 They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach; 136 This is not but the custom of the former peoples, 137 They rejected him and We destroyed them. 138 So they belied him, so We destroyed them. Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 139 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 140
