(The tribe of) A'ad denied the messengers (of Allah). 123 Their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear God? 124 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 125 So fear Allah and obey me. 126 And I do not ask you any reward for it; surely my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds 127 What, do you build on every prominence a sign, sporting, 128 "And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever. 129 "And when you seize, seize you as tyrants? 130 So fear Allah, and obey me. 131 And fear He who provided you with that which you know, 132 He has bestowed on you cattle, and sons, 133 and gardens, and springs: 134 Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an awful day. 135 They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach. 136 That is nothing but a habit of the ancients, 137 "And we are not going to be punished." 138 And they belied him; so We destroyed them. Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 139 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 140

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
