The Thamud (people) rejected the messengers. 141 Their brother Salih said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 142 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 143 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 144 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 145 Will you be left secure in what is here; 146 In these gardens and these springs, 147 The fields of corn and date-palm trees with soft and tender spathes, 148 You hew dwellings in mountains and exult in that. 149 So fear Allah, and obey me. 150 Do not obey the orders of the transgressors 151 Who work corruption in the land and rectify not. 152 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 153 You are naught but a mortal like ourselves; so bring a sign if you are one of the truthful. 154 Salih said: "This is a she-camel. There is a day set for her to drink and there is a day set for you to drink. 155 “And do not touch her with evil intentions for the punishment of the Great Day will seize you.” 156 Then they hamstrung her; and then they became regretful. 157 for the suffering [predicted by Salih,] befell them [then and there]. In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 158 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 159

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
