The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 so fear God and obey me. 163 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 Lord, save me and my family from their deeds." 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 And We rained on them a rain. And dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned. 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
