The people of Lut belied the sent ones. 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said: If thou cease not, O Lot, thou wilt soon be of the outcast. 167 He said: verily I am of those who abhor your work. 168 My Lord! Save me and my household from what they do. 169 We saved him and all of his family 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 And lo! thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
