Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 Their brother Lot asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 so fear you God, and obey you me. 163 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 164 Do you, of all people, approach males, 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said, "Lot, if you do not give up preaching, you will certainly be expelled (from this town)". 167 He said: "I do detest your doings." 168 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do." 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 174 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
