Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed? 161 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said: If thou cease not, O Lot, thou wilt soon be of the outcast. 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We delivered him and his followers all, 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
