The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Do you, of all people, approach males, 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said, "I am one of those who abhors your ways. 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 except an old woman who remained behind. 171 then We totally destroyed the rest, 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
