The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 161 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 162 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 164 What! do you come to the males from among the creatures 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted." 167 He said, "I am one of those who abhors your ways. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We delivered him and his family,- all 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
