The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 So fear God and listen to me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 leaving aside those whom Allah has created for you as your mates. Nay, you are a people that has transgressed all limits." 166 Said they: "Indeed, If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt most certainly be expelled [from this township]!" 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do." 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 Thereafter We annihilated the rest. 172 We rained upon them a rain, and evil is the rain (of stones) on those that are warned. 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
