The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 "So fear Allah and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
