The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'aib said to them: "Will you not take heed? 177 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched; 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He. said: My Lord is the Best Knower of that which ye work. 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
