The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 and do not diminish the goods of the people, and do not make mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
