The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 And weigh with an even balance. 182 And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land; 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
