The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 "So fear Allah and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 So fear Him Who created you and the former generations. 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!" 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
