The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no wage for it; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who give less (than the due). 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 So cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
