The dwellers of Al-Aiyka [near Madyan (Midian)] belied the Messengers. 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 They rejected him, and then had to suffer the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom. That was indeed the punishment of an awful day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
