The dwellers of the thicket gave the lie to the apostles. 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 do not defraud people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not spread corruption in the land. 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 But they belied him, then the punishment of the Day of Shadow (raining fire) seized them.
