Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 Truly, it is in the Books of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 Who listens to you; but most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 See you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry? 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.
