This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 It behoveth them not, nor they can. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
