And this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 If they disobey you, say: 'I am quit of what you do' 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227
