And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 Who listens to you (for spreading rumours); but most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 See you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry? 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
