And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Should I tell you on whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 And how they say that which they do not? 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
