And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 They have been precluded from hearing it. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Should I tell you on whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
