This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And indeed it is mentioned in the earlier Books. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 who can see whether you stand up 218 or move during your prostration with the worshippers. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Almighty God's Truth.
