And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Should I tell you to whom the satans come? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Poets (Alshu'araa'). Sent down in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
