The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin. Those are the signs of the Koran and a Manifest Book, 1 A guidance and good news for the believers, 2 Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and are certain of the Hereafter. 3 As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds seem attractive to them so they stumble around in perplexity. 4 they are the ones who will have the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers. 5 Lo! as for thee (Muhammad), thou verily receivest the Qur'an from the presence of One Wise, Aware. 6 Tell of Moses who said to his family, "I have seen a fire. I will bring you news from there, or a burning brand for you to warm yourselves." 7 But when he reached it, a voice called out: "Blessed is He who is in the fire and all around it. Praised be God, the Lord of all the worlds. 8 “O Moosa, I am indeed, in truth, Allah the Almighty, the Wise.” 9 Cast down thy staff.' And when he saw it quivering like a serpent he turned about, retreating, and turned not back. 'Moses, fear not; surely the Envoys do not fear in My presence, 10 Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil - indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful. 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, "This is obvious magic." 13 And they persisted in rejecting them wrongfully and arrogantly, while in their hearts they were convinced of their truth. Observe, then, how evil was the fate of the evil-doers. 14
