The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. These are the verses of the Quran and of the illustrious Book 1 a guidance, and good tidings unto the believers 2 who establish Prayer and give Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 3 We have made the deeds of those who do not believe in the life to come, attractive to them and they wander about blindly. 4 they are the ones who will have the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers. 5 As for you, (O Muhammad), you are receiving the Qur'an from the Most Wise, the All-Knowing. 6 When Moses said to his household: 'Indeed, I can see a fire far away. I will go and bring you news of it or I will bring you a lighted flame so that you can warm yourselves' 7 But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds. 8 O Moses, verily this is Me, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise! 9 Throw down your staff." When Moses saw his staff on the ground moving like a living creature, he stepped back and did not come forward again. The Lord said,"Moses, do not be afraid. Messengers do not become afraid in My presence". 10 Except those who do some wrong but afterwards do good to make up for the wrong. And I am forgiving and merciful. 11 "Now place thy hand into thy bosom: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish!" [And thou shalt go] with nine [of My] messages unto Pharaoh and his people for, verily, they are people depraved!" 12 When Our miracles were visibly shown to them, they said, "It is plain magic". 13 They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers! 14
