And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
