Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
