The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
