Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
