The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
