And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
