Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
