Al-Naml 6 of 7
And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
