And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
