The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
