And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
