The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
