The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
