Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
