And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
