Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
