And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
