Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
