The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
