And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
