The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
