Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
